Better Speech and Hearing at ESHC: Student Essentials Drive

Each year, ESHC celebrates Better Speech and Hearing – a time to raise awareness about communication health and the importance of access to basic resources in learning and development. This year, we are proud to continue our tradition of giving back with our Student Essentials Drive.

We are collecting NEW water bottles, underwear, and socks to benefit students in Seattle Public Schools. These small essentials help students stay healthy, feel confident, and focus on what matters most – learning and growing.

Why these items?

School nurses and staff have identified water bottles, underwear, and socks as some of the most needed items throughout the school year. When students have access to these basics, they are more likely to participate fully at school and have a greater sense of self worth.
