These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Have a nightly cleaning routine. Wipe your<a href=\"https:\/\/everhear.com\/hearing\/hearing-aids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> hearing aids <\/a>down with a soft, dry cloth. Alternatively, you can purchase a hearing aid cleaning kit that comes with several different tools like a brush and a pick to care for your device.<\/li><li>Regularly replace wax guards if you use them.<\/li><li>Turn your hearing aids off when they aren\u2019t in use.<\/li><li>Leave the battery compartment door open overnight to allow any excess moisture to evaporate.<\/li><li>Consider a drying box or dehumidifier to help rid your hearing aids of moisture.<\/li><li>Always store your hearing aids in a cool, dry place when not in use.<\/li><li>Have regular checkups with your audiologist to make sure things are working properly.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Common Hearing Aid Repairs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Damage caused by moisture. Most people who use hearing aids wear them every day, during all waking hours.
