Even the best-laid travel plans can go awry, and so can your hearing aids while you\u2019re on vacation. No need to worry\u2014to get your devices functioning again, follow these helpful tips. You\u2019ll be back to enjoying your relaxing getaway before you know it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My hearing aid stopped working.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, make sure your device is charged or has a fresh battery. If not, charge or replace it. If the battery is fine, change the wax guard. You can also try cleaning your hearing aid with a soft, dry toothbrush. Brush all over the body of the hearing aid and the eartip (dome).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My hearing aid won\u2019t charge.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes the charger\u2019s indicator lights stop working, but the hearing aid is actually charging. Take the hearing aid out of the charger and listen to it. Is it working? If it is, continue to use your hearing aids. Just remember to call our office when you get back so we can take a look at them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the hearing aid is not working, hold down the bottom of the toggle switch on the back of the hearing aid for 30 seconds, then place the hearing aid in the charger for 30 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
