As you may have read before on our site, there is some speculation that this 30% increase in teen hearing loss since the ’90s could be in connection to the increased use of earbuds and MP3 players as well as other noise induced influences. We’ve made it a point at eshc to help inform our patients of the dangers of NIHL (noise-induced hearing loss) through awareness concerts, informative brochures, and distribution of earplugs at events throughout the community.<\/p>\n
