\t\t\t\tThe speech world, and our office, is excited for the new movie, “The King’s Speech” that came out this past week in limited release to movie theaters around the country. The story is of the man who became King George VI (father of Queen Elizabeth II) after reluctantly assuming the thrown. The story tells of his struggle with stuttering and the steps he takes with an unorthodox speech therapist, Lionel Logue, to become fit for public speaking and the head of royalty.<\/p>\n
The film is already achieving Oscar buzz, and we are extremely excited for the movie to come to the greater Seattle area so we can see what everyone has been talking about!<\/p>\n
