National Doctor’s Day is recognized every year on March 30th as a way of thanking and honoring medical professionals throughout the country. The \u00a0celebration was started in\u00a01933 in Winder, Georgia by Eudora Brown Almond, wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond. This first observance included the mailing\u00a0greeting cards<\/a> and placing flowers on graves of deceased doctors.
