The group is anxiously awaiting the start of their month long program on June 27th where 16 audiology and speech-language pathology professionals from the US and Hong Kong will teach 150\u00a0Vietnamese\u00a0teachers, families, hearing aid dispensers and medical teams. The training will include\u00a0lectures, practicum, video analysis, and 1:1 consultations for teachers, along with private consultations for families, and an in-depth audiology program for those working in schools and medical settings.\u00a0The group will also fit hearing aids on children from low-income families. &#8220;We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces returning from last year to build on their knowledge, while also welcoming a new group of participants,&#8221; says foundation founder Paige Stringer.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the month long mission is to help the people of Vietnam raise awareness, obtain tools and gain expertise in the fields of hearing and speech to help youth with hearing loss develop listening and spoken language skills.<\/p>\n<p>All of us here at ESHC wish Paige and the members of her team safe travels and commend their global awareness and education of hearing health.
