\t\t\t\tToday, April 2nd, we here at ESHC are “lighting up blue” in celebration of World Autism Day. The non-profit organization Autism Speaks started a global campaign encouraging people and places to light up the day blue to show pride and raise awareness.<\/p>\n
In 2012, more than 3000 iconic buildings and\u00a0landmarks in over 50 countries on six\u00a0continents turned their lights blue in\u00a0commemoration of World Autism Awareness.<\/p>\n
With your help in 2013, we\u00a0will shine a bright spotlight on the public health crisis of autism and improve the future for everyone\u00a0who struggles with autism spectrum disorder. 1 in 88 children (and 1 in 54 boys) are affected by Autism.<\/p>\n
