Did you know that 1 in 10 families in the Puget Sound area are\u00a0affected by a communication disorder; totaling over 42 million Americans nationwide.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/everhear.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BHSM-2013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4446\" alt=\"BHSM-2013\" src=\"http:\/\/everhear.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/BHSM-2013.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since 1979, ESHC has joined audiologists and speech-language pathologists throughout the nation in the celebration of Better Hearing and Speech Month (BHSM), a month dedicated to the awareness of speech, language and hearing disorders. This May, we look forward to raising awareness throughout the Puget Sound area with events that range from 5K runs to rockin&#8217; concerts.
