That&#8217;s why we are encouraging local businesses and corporations- big and small- to promote personal and professional growth within their organizations during this <a href=\"http:\/\/everhear.wpengine.com\/bhsm\">Better Hearing &amp; Speech Month<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, we would like to highlight our <a href=\"http:\/\/everhear.wpengine.com\/speech\/specialized-areas\/accent-modification\/\">accent modification program<\/a>. This program is designed to enhance the pronunciation of Standard American English for increased intelligibility. Our certified speech-language pathologists customize programs to target each individual&#8217;s specific needs and speaking concerns. Through individual or small group sessions, along with home practice, our program graduates have reported at least 50% increase in intelligibility. The goal of the program is not only more understandable speech, but improved confidence and performance during work-related and personal interactions.<\/p>\n<p>Complimentary consultations are recommended to determine if this program is appropriate and uncover the subtle speaking differences that negatively impact an individual&#8217;s ability to be understood by others.
