Goman and Frank R. Lin of John Hopkins University, a shocking 38.3 (23% of population) million of Americans aged 12 years and older are struggling with hearing loss.<\/p>\n<p>According to this study,\u00a0nearly 25 million people have mild hearing loss, 10.7 &#8211; moderate and almost 2 million &#8211; severe to profound hearing loss. &#8220;Older individuals displayed a higher prevalence of hearing loss and more severe levels of loss.
