\nSupervisor\u2019s Title: Speech Program Director<\/em><\/p>\n
\nProvide evaluative, therapeutic and consultative services for children and adults with speech, language, cognitive and\/or hearing delays, disorders or differences. Participate as a member of the speech team in program development.<\/p>\n
\nDuties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
\nClinical Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Collaborate with staff and co-treating clinicians on a daily basis
\n\u2022 Assess patient\u2019s developmental level of functioning in order to design and implement treatment plan
\n\u2022 Develop an individualized plan of care catered to each patients needs
\n\u2022 Conduct formal evaluations
\n\u2022 Prepare progress reports
\n\u2022 Review medical reports
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate records of contact with each patient
\n\u2022 Communicate with primary care givers as needed about therapy plan and other therapeutic interventions
\n\u2022 Utilize, maintain and perform quality assurance audits, and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
\n\u2022 Provide services with a caring, empathetic manner, holding to the highest professional, ethical and legal standards
\n\u2022 Independently makes decisions with some direction by program director
\n\u2022 Maintain at least 10 hours of continued education per year and register for CEU\u2019s<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Promotes program and business development
\n\u2022 Participates in group discussions\/meetings\/presentations
\n\u2022 Builds professional relationships through society functions and organizational meetings and events
\n\u2022 Meets productivity standards set by clinic director<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Master\u2019s degree in Speech Pathology (in fulfillment of the requirements of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association)
\n\u2022 Experience work with children and adults with speech, language, cognitive and\/or hearing delays, disorders or differences<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Professional appearance and manner
\n\u2022 Pass Washington State criminal history and background check
\n\u2022 Be able to lift 15-25 pounds<\/p>\n
