This Throwback Thursday takes us back to our 2008 Turn It Down: Ear-Responsible Concert. Hosted at the Kirkland Teen Union Building and sponsored by Evergreen Speech & Hearing Clinic,\u00a0Grammy U<\/a>, Westone<\/a>, House Ear Institue<\/a>, and Oticon<\/a>, the evening was headlined by Portugal the Man<\/a>. Since our third annual Turn It Down concert, Portugal. the Man can now be found at festivals like Coachella<\/a> in 2018. The event brought out more than 250 concert-goers and all performances were at safe listening levels (under 100dB). Our custom hearing protection was given out and $1,614 was raised for equipment that could provide a safer listening space at Kirkland Teen Union Building.
