The holiday was started by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.campfire.org\/a_i_kid_day\/mainpage.html\">Campfire USA<\/a>, as a letter writing campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Each year Campfire USA and other organizations encourage adults to write <strong>letters to children<\/strong> in their lives &#8211; be it your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers, sisters, and\/or friends. The letters of love and support only take a few minutes to construct, but can <strong>create a lifetime of lasting memories and encouragement for a child<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At ESHC we encourage all patients and visitors to the office to take an AIKD postcard from one of our offices, write a note to an <strong>Absolutely\u00a0Incredible\u00a0Kid<\/strong> in\u00a0their\u00a0life, and give it back to us to pay the postage!
