His presentation taught them about the ear, along with how sound can damage the delicate anatomy within. They were also given the opportunity to see just how loud\u00a0iPods and MP3 players are with a sound level reader, comparing the sounds to the likeness of a jack hammer or siren!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Look for many more\u00a0opportunities\u00a0in the coming months to learn about hearing conservation.
