Over 250 attendees rocked out with us at the Kirkland Teen Union Building (KTUB) Saturday night. Local bands 4th Avenue, Bad Timing and Daphne Loves Derby played to the packed house while our staff were hard at work selling raffle tickets, creating custom molded earplugs at cost, and informing youth, musicians and parents on ways in which they can protect their hearing. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Through the door entry and raffle ticket purchases we were able to raise <strong>$1030<\/strong> to be split between <strong>KTUB<\/strong> for the purchase of hearing protection at all their future shows, and long time patient <strong>Tom Guidon<\/strong> to help fund his trip to the 2009 Deaflympics.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!
