\t\t\t\tThis October we celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month through the\u00a0\u201cPositively Pink About Hearing\u201d campaign. The campaign is run in partnership with Oticon who will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of each Dual \u201cThink Pink\u201d hearing device and all other Dual hearing devices to the National Cancer Coalition (NCC). The NCC provides medical and financial relief along with research and educational programs throughout the world in an effort to improve cancer patients\u2019 quality of life. \u201cWe are excited to be working with Oticon to raise funds for the NCC,\u201d says Doctor of Audiology Cheryl Lokanis. \u201cSo many women are affected by this disease, and we are proud to pay tribute to those who have battled breast cancer this fall.\u201d<\/p>\n
Not only will the clinic be donating a portion of all Dual hearing device sales proceeds to the NCC, they will also be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, Oct. 4 in Downtown Bellevue. This will be the third year that the group has participated in this event, not only helping make a difference in the lives of women close to home, but also across the country. A contribution from the clinic will be made for each staff member, friend or family member that participates in the 5K walk.<\/p>\n
