The all day meeting brought industry expert Paul Pessis, AuD to Kirkland, WA to speak to the group on private practice issues and best practices.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Pessis is the owner of Northshore Audiology Vestibular Lab with two locations in Illinois. Some of his noteworthy accomplishments include board positions on many professional organizations at the state and national level, past president of the American Academy of Audiology, nationwide lecturer and is an instructor for doctoral students.<\/p>\n<p>Over 30 WAA members attended the event and came out of the meeting with new knowledge on the audiology field and the direction that the profession is going in the coming years.\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Evergreen was host to the Washington Audiology Alliance (WAA) office managers conference yesterday.
