Here\nat Evergreen Speech &amp; Hearing Clinic, we want to stay connected with you\nand your family starting with a few notes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>We ask that you and\/or your child stay home and away from the clinic for at least 24 hours if you have a fever during flu season.<\/li><li>We are following the latest from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/index.html\">Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/a>, including best practices for prevention in a clinical setting.<\/li><li>Our clinicians and staff are practicing a protocol that includes thorough hand-washing, use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers and frequent disinfecting of surfaces, toys and all testing equipment.<\/li><li>In the event of a quarantine, we can continue to provide speech and language services through teletherapy.<\/li><li>More information on COVID-19 protection and prevention can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evergreenhealth.com\/coronavirus\">EvergreenHealth<\/a>.<\/li><li>If you are concerned about your visit, or fall in the higher risk categories of over 60 years and\/or physically fragile, we would like to offer you the following accommodations: \n<ul>\n<li>Some hearing instruments allow for remote programming.&nbsp; If you have a Starkey Livio instrument, you can call our office for a remote access number and instructions on how to gain access.&nbsp;With Oticon OPN hearing instruments, we would first need to set up the hearing aid in office, and then you would have access to remote assistance. <\/li>\n\n<li>If you prefer to wait in your car for your appointment, please notify us of your arrival, and we will call your cell phone as soon as your room is cleaned and prepared. <\/li>\n\n<li>If you have a routine maintenance appointment, feel free to have someone drop your instruments at the counter, and we will call you when they are ready to pick up (usually within the hour).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, we look forward to working with you in the next few weeks and will keep you updated as needed.
