This weekend the award winning King’s Speech is being released in theaters as PG-13. The studio has cut many of the profanities used throughout the film to allow a younger demographic to view the film. Their main target in making this decision was to allow children with speech impediments to be able to view the story of the British King who overcame his stutter, and bring inspiration to these youth.
For those that are looking to see the original film, join us on May 18th for a special screening with the Eastside Stuttering Support Group in celebration of Better Hearing and Speech Month! We’ll have more information in the near future.
