On April 9th the Hearing Loss Association of Bellevue will host a presentation on assisted listening devices (ALD’s), assistive tools for those with hearing loss.
Guest speaker Janice Moore will speak about various devices and their purposes, such items as: Pocket Talkers, vibrating timers and alarm clocks, amplified telephones handsets, alerts, signalers, and ways to hear smoke alarms, doorbells and phones. Not only will attendees be able to learn more about these devices, Janice will also be bringing a box of assisted listening devices for guests to have hands on experience with.
