During the summer months we put our speech kiddos up to a book reading challenge…read 10 books or more this summer and receive a $10 gift card to target. 37 of our superstar readers took on this challenge reading an amazing 3,137 books!
Topping the reading charts was our grand prize winner Emma E. During the two months of our challenge, Emma read 1,511 books! Out of that many books, what was her favorite read? Emma let us know that the boxcar book series was at the top of her list. Emma’s mom also said that every night she would read to her three younger siblings, helping them enjoy the gift of reading.
