This October we celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month through the “Positively Pink About Hearing” campaign. The campaign is run in partnership with Oticon who will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of each Dual “Think Pink” hearing device and all other Dual hearing devices to the National Cancer Coalition (NCC). The NCC provides medical and financial relief along with research and educational programs throughout the world in an effort to improve cancer patients’ quality of life. “We are excited to be working with Oticon to raise funds for the NCC,” says Doctor of Audiology Cheryl Lokanis. “So many women are affected by this disease, and we are proud to pay tribute to those who have battled breast cancer this fall.”
Not only will the clinic be donating a portion of all Dual hearing device sales proceeds to the NCC, they will also be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, Oct. 4 in Downtown Bellevue. This will be the third year that the group has participated in this event, not only helping make a difference in the lives of women close to home, but also across the country. A contribution from the clinic will be made for each staff member, friend or family member that participates in the 5K walk.
Join us this October and help make a difference for women everywhere through the “Positively Pink About Hearing” campaign and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Walk.
