Our team’s number one goal is to continue to see patients throughout the coming weeks. With this in mind, we are taking extra precautions to keep our team and patients safe and healthy within the clinic. We are closely following the latest from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including best practices for prevention in a clinical setting. Our clinic staff have implemented strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols following each patient visit as recommended by the CDC and Washington State Department of Health, and we are working to minimize wait times in the public waiting area.
Our team has also recently implemented other avenues for continued care through teletherapy options. Some hearing devices allow for remote programming changes and telecare. Please contact our office if you are interested in scheduling remote hearing care and our staff can help identify if your devices are capable with remote care.
Remote Hearing Aid Care
If you are concerned about your visit, or fall in the higher risk categories of being over 60 years old and/or physically fragile, we are offering the following accommodations:
- Some hearing instruments allow for remote programming. If you have a Starkey Livio instrument, you can call our office for a remote access number and instructions on how to gain access. With Oticon OPN hearing instruments, we first need to set up the hearing aid in office and then you would have access to remote assistance.
- If you prefer, you can wait in your car for your appointment. SImply notify us of your arrival and we will call your cell phone as soon as your room is cleaned and prepared.
- If you have a routine maintenance appointment, feel free to have someone drop your instruments at the counte. We will call you when they are ready to pick up, which is usually within the hour.
Here are some cleaning, use and care tips you can also perform at home for your devices:
Hearing Aid Parts
Please let us know if you are in need of some parts (wax filters, domes or batteries) and we can get them ready for you to pick up.
