Please join us in welcoming Dr. Chris Norwood, Au.D., to the team at Evergreen Hearing & Speech!
Chris is the son of Ruth and Tom Norwood, who each help run the practice. After earning his Doctor of Audiology degree from Northwestern University in Illinois, Chris spent time gaining clinical experience at Chicago’s Northwestern University Memorial Hospital and at the University of California San Francisco.
“I am very excited about Chris joining Evergreen Speech & Hearing Clinic,” said Dr. Tom Norwood. “His passion for perfection and unique skill set will definitely be an asset to our clinic’s future. I feel lucky that Chris decided to be the second Dr. Norwood to venture into this unique field of Audiology.”
Chris worked at Evergreen Hearing & Speech years before pursuing his own Au.D., where he has always enjoyed the interactions and family-like demeanor of patients and staff alike. He said one of the best parts of returning is getting to meet with patients who have visited the practice for more than four decades.
“After incredible externship experiences across the country, I am happy to join a clinic that is evidenced based and does the full scope of audiology, from pediatrics, adults, and even vestibular diagnostics,” Chris said. Chris looks forward to meeting new patients and continuing care for those who currently work with other providers at the practice!
