On Saturday, April 18th, eight ESHC staff members participated in a community service event planned by the Audiology Department in celebration of our 30 years of service. The day brought our eager volunteers to Providence Hospitality House, a home for women and children in crisis.
Doctor of Audiology Tom Norwood, his son Chris Norwood, and Audiology Assistant Mark Mangione helped tear down a play structure that was no longer safe for the children.
Front Office Manager GE Vinson, GE’s daughter, Speech Accounts Coordinator Alison Beardsley, Audiology Assistant Gini Retka, and her daughter Janelle helped inside the house sorting clothes, cleaning and making the house a more comfortable place for the women and children.
A huge thanks to all that participated in the event! Another group will be headed to Providence Hospitality House on Saturday, April 25th to continue with the projects started, and deliver the rest of the supplies collected in all three offices during our April supply drive.
