Accent’s Causing Doubt?
New research by University of Chicago psychologists Shiri Lev-Ari and Boaz Keysar shows that non-native accents make speech more difficult for native speakers to break down, thereby reduces “cognitive fluency” (the ease with which the brain processes stimuli). Making a Difference by Making Strides
This Sunday members of the ESHC staff along with friends and family braved the elements to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. The team put on their pink and headed to downtown Bellevue for a walk with thousands of other community members.
