The speech team, in celebration of Better Hearing and Speech Month, is offering local preschools and daycare centers the opportunity to host a speech and language screening at their site free of charge. Screenings are helpful in identifying children who need a more thorough assessment.
Speech-language screenings are brief, relaxed and simple to conduct! The therapists will spend a few minutes evaluating each child and comparing what is observed with age-related markers. Diagnoses are not made at this time.
