The Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss, that we have spoken about in past blog posts, just completed their first missing to Vietnam to educate and advance the schools, parents and teachers on Deaf learning. 13 professionals from around the United States headed to Thuan An Center in South Vietnam where they helped educated 95 Vietnamese teachers from 35 deaf schools. The impact of their work is expected to reach over 850 children with hearing loss throughout the country.
We are so proud of our local Seattle foundation making a huge difference globally. We were touched and inspired by their work as shown in their newly released video. Congratulations to Paige Stringer and her colleagues for an amazing first year of the program.
