Tip #2: Sit at Round Tables
When you’re picking what table to sit at during a holiday party, you might want to consider a round table over a rectangular table. Sitting at a round table allows you to see everyone in your party and gain visual cues from them as they speak. When sitting at a rectangular table it can be difficult to speak with someone a seat or two away from you.
Another perk to sitting at a table in the round is having the waitress come up to your seat and speaking with you instead of yelling down a long table. Just a quick seating switch, can make a huge conversational change!
