Last night our staff had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at Food Lifeline’s Shoreline Re-Pack center. Hair nets, aprons and all, we packaged an amazing 1,152 pounds of Panko breadcrumbs, which equates to 4,000 meals! To see fun pictures from the evening click here.
Food Lifeline’s mission is to end hunger in Western Washington, and they donated more than 35 million pounds of food last year, which is equivalent to 27 million meals for families in the community.
