Evergreen Speech and Hearing is always looking toward the future and deciding what’s next for the clinic and the care we provide. As 2020 draws to a close, we wanted to share with you a couple of items we’re actively pursuing for 2021.
Pediatrics
The ESHC staff is working tirelessly to put together a program for the kids and young people in our community who are experiencing hearing loss. So often, hearing loss is associated with the later years of our lives, but there are plenty of children and teens who struggle with both ear injuries and congenital hearing loss. We want to be a leader in the region for pediatric hearing care. If your child fails a hearing screening or if there is concern at home, we want to be the first clinic on your mind because of our outstanding pediatric care. Smart Hearing Aids
Technology is constantly evolving at a blistering pace, and ESHC is always on the lookout for the latest advances in hearing aid technology. Our goal for 2021 is to keep in lock step with the development of smart devices — hearing aids that have constantly updating software that learns as you listen. There are some amazing things on the product horizon, and we will endeavor to offer them to our patients just as soon as they are available.
